Style Icon Part Two

I don't really need to introduce the second style icon, Audrey Hepburn. Her style was classic and chic, but it still (fifty years later) it looks young and fresh!

But what I didn't know is that she is half Dutch and half English. The exams and few big projects are finished so this weekend I can finally relax, do some laundry, watch movies (I think its time to watch Breakfast at Tiffany's again) and pack my bags for Monday's flight to Madrid! xx

Pictures audreyhepburn.com and google images.

have fun in madrird!

audrey hepburn is my hero. i think anyone who loves fashion or old movies should spend some time reading an extensive bio of hers. she lived in the netherlands during WWII and did underground dance recitals to support Nazi Resistance, and carried messages in her shoes to the underground. Later in life, while filming a Nun's story she was so upset by the suffering she saw while filming on location in leprosy tribes that she realized she needed to devote herself to the welfare of children and eventually became an ambassador for UNICEF. She went on many mission trips, and her favorite picure of herself is not one where she is wearing a glam givenchy costume, but one taken with one of the children she is helping.

We have the same style icons! I love Audrey to death and people sometimes tell me I look like Chloe Sevigny, which is possibly the greatest compliment of all time (although I do not dress as well as her, haha). Have fun in Madrid! xoxoxo
