Leather Jacket

This picture is taken at the Milan Fashion Week. I love her outfit! And her leather jacket reminds me of the jacket I (finally) bought yesterday from den Haag. I will post a picture of it tomorrow.

Have a good weekend! xx

About the Oscars...

I think this years Oscars were super boring red carpet-wise. Almost none of the dresses surprised or even moved me in any way. Many of the dresses lacked inspiration and also colour , and many of the stars had almost identical white/sequin dress (and even though I love sequins I don't love them that much).

However, some were better than the rest:

My absolute favourite, Natalie Portman in pink Rodarte dress
Marion Cotillard in Dior Penelope Cruz in vintage Balmain (bonus points for vintage) Marisa Tomei in Versace

Which couple shined more? my vote goes to Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer, I haven't seen Jennifer that happy in a long time! Angelina and Brad looked fabulous too, but I can't help but think that Angelina is cold and reserved... sorry!

I was more fascinated by the jewelery and accessories of the stars, but couln't find good pictures of them. Maybe next year will be more interesting!

Oh and I want to say I'm so happy for Kate Winslet! She is so talented and beautiful, and one of my favourite actresses. She really deserved the Oscar. xx

Undying Love of Sequins

The title pretty much says it all. I love sequins: they can be toned down for the day and they are always perfect for the night.

For my wardrobe:

Black dress Michael Kors, dress Matthew Williams, open toe boots Halston

Purple dress Hervé Legér, vest Express

Dress 3.1 Philip Lim, pumps Miu Miu

And last, a picture of model Lily Donaldson, she shows how to work the leather leggins. Makes her legs look so long, I could definitely use that trick too.

Wishes and Awards

We all have dreams, dreams about clothes, bags and shoes. I have dreamed for few years now about a bag - Mulberry Bayswater in chocolate. Because I'm studying (and don't have rich mum/dad/aunt/whatever) I still have to wait a little until I can - and I will! - buy it for myself. And then I will use it forever, and it will never go out of style. I don't want to buy the 'it' bag which will look dated in few months. I rather invest my money to something better. Mulberry Bayswater might be the first designer bag I'll buy, but surely not the last!

Anyway, I rather invest my money to something classic and sophisticated yet expensive than use the same money to buy 100 cheap bags that will break down and look like c**p in few months. My boyfriend will never understand spending so much money on a bag... but when he tries to offer his opinions I always remind him about his super plasma tv that cost him over 2000 euros!

I received this award, given by the truly amasing Drifter and the Gypsy:
