faded effect

I bought a new jacket from H&M. It's really short, mid-waist length, and lightweight and stretch material. I really like it, I needed something with attitude to my wardrobe, so I don't start looking like a hippie too much!

knits knits knits

Ok I know it's still summer and all but the closer the start of the schools come the more I start to think about the autumn wardrobe. And my absolute autumn favourites are knits, leather boots and dark jeans. And today I went to hm.com and these knits look so comfy and cute I want them all! (Click to enlarge).

Whats your autumn wardrobe favourite?

Oh and I totally recommend Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor! It's the best conditioner I've ever had! I bought it today after using my roommate's and decided to buy my own bottle. I also bought few basic tees and a cute hairband with a bow, somehow this kind of stuff just jumps into my bag (of course paying them first) when I intend to visit the shops only to buy conditioner! Take care everyone x

new pieces

I bought some new pieces for my jewellery collection from a second hand shop yesterday. What do you think? I especially like the bronze coloured necklace, it will look great with a tan and a white top. But the other one is nice too, a bit heavier and adds more colour to an outfit.

I've been thinking of doing kind of 'what I wore today' type of post but I would have to take the photos myself... Any tips? Is it difficult? Take care lovelies!

bag inventory

When I moved I had to do a little inventory for my bags, because I just own so many. Because the apartment that I now share with my best friend has limited space, I had to narrow my collection down and leave major part of it in cardboard boxes at my parent's place. But, as a result of the inventory I wanted to show you dear bloggers my favourite bags that I use the most frequently:

Top 2 cluthches: first is a blue crocodile skin clutch from Australia, vintage from the 60's. I bought it from a tiny second-hand shop in the beautiful Blue Mountains. The second one is a lot newer, but still very dear to me because it has travelled with me to so many places, and yes its kinda worn down but I don't want to let it go!

The three bags are mainly my party bags, the one with the chain is from Mango, and the two clutches are vintage (beige is leather and from a second-hand shop in Finland, brown is snake skin and from a second-hand shop in Amsterdam). The two bags in the second picture are what I use almost daily, the smaller one is second-hand and I use it when I go shopping or for a coffee with friend, because it's so small and goes over the shoulder. The bigger white one I use when I go grocery shopping or to the beach because it can fit all the stuff in.

These too are probably from the eighties (the black one) and the seventies (the light brown one). I bought both of them from a recycling centre and they cost approx. one euro each! They are leather and gorgeous so quite a bargain, wasn't it?

So which bag do you like the most / the least? XX

autumn musings

Chloé and Phillip Lim had very different collections for a/w 2009: Chloé with its nude tones, white, 80's vibes and light fabrics; Phillip Lim with the dark but pretty and sparkly rock'n'roll look.

Chloé

3.1 Phillip Lim

I never thought I would say this, but I'm getting tired of the rock chick look, so I have to go for Chloé! I love the light fabrics, soft shapes and the earth tones! Which one do you prefer for this autumn?
